GOLF.
On Saturday the St. Andrew's Golf Club played their monthly medal competition. In spite of the cold wind and hail showers a good muster of players assembled, and a keen contest resulted in a win for Mr T. Spiers with a net score of 86. A few of the other beat scores were : J. A. Millar 88, F. Williams 88, G. B. Dall 89. S. Stokes 91, W. Houston 92. Mr F. Williams's gross total of 92 was the best eoore registered for the day. .
