Ninety years to-day since Trafalgar. The hospital returns for the past week are Remaining from previous week, 106; admitted during the week, 24; discharged, 17; death (George Crawford), 1. Total remaining in institution, 112. On Saturday night Christchurch had much-needed rain.
From Greymouth last week 4,086 tons of coal and 202,510 ft of timber were exported. Mr J. L. Scott has been elected a member of the Board of Governors of Canterbury College in place of the late Mr J. V. Colborne Vcel. ;
