(Before His Honor Mr Justice Williams.) Re Rachel Ann Mure Macredie, deceased. —Motion for authority to register copies of trust disposition, etc., instead of originals (Mr J. Cook).—Accordingly. The Public Trustee v. Paterson.—Motion for further time to answer interrogatories (Mr Solomon). Mr Chapman objected. A week's further time was allowed; £1 Is costs to plaintiff. Re Thomas Brown, deceased. Petition for leave to expend £4OO in erecting buildings (Mr Fraser). —Ordered that, in assuming that statement in petition and in verifying affidavit to be true, the petitioner is justified in expending £4OO in the manner he suggests. Re. William Sanderson, deceased.—Motion for probate (Mr Duncan).—Accordingly. Re Nicoll v. Nicoll and MacneiL—Mr Solomon appeared for the petitioner, and Mr C. M. Mouat for the respondent. In this case, after argument, it was decided that of the amount of £250 awarded petitioner by the jury £l5O should be tho respondent's share; £6O to be paid to her at once to enable her to leave the colony should she so wish, and the balance to be banked with the Dunedin Savings Bank, to be withdrawn by her, through a trustee to be appointed, in six half-yearly instalments.—Subsequently Mr Mouat made application for the costs of the respondent to be paid by the co-respon-dent, for whom Mr Fraser appeared.—After argument, His Honor adjourned the further hearing until all parties could be present.
