MELANCHOLY SUICIDE.
AUCKLAND, Jink 8,
Catherine Arabella Bakcwell, twenty-four years old, died this morning from " Rough on Rats, - ' taken by herself. Deceased, who was a daughter of Dr Bakewell, had been suffering from melancholia, attributed to the fact of having studied hard to pass a teacher's examination, in which she had failed.
