CIRCUS MUSIC.

TO THE EDITOR.

We are sorry to find now that its performance has given offence in some quarters, and being strangers among you we are quite willing to accept your correspondent’s advice in the spirit in which it is offered. Our desire always is to please and not to offend our patrons; therefore,^ in future performances of “Dick Turpin’s ride,” the musical accompaniment to the death scene shall be a piece that can offend no one.—We are, etc,.
