THE ROSLYN TRAMWAY,
TO THE EPITOB.
Sir, —I think it is about time that the directors of the Roslyn Tramway Company were making an effort to provide something better for the travelling public than the present existing cars. Why, they are scarcely a decent apology for a tramear and as for getting a seat in them abont six in the evening is entirely out of the question ; you simply have to hang on like so many bunches of bananas round a shop window, and feel pretty well exhausted by
he time the terminus is reached. Besides, the fares are more than double what is charged on the City lines, while the distance is much shorter. Sir, I for one feel inclined to resort to the old method of better is provided. Hoping that some abler pen| than mine will take the matter up— I am, etc., Wm. B. M. Fea. Kaikorai, January 16
