Eec. 1.45 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 22. Found guilty of the murder of two Australian airmen who crashed in northern Celebes on June 19, 1945, Lieutenant Yanomura has been sentenced to death by shooting by an Australian Court at Marotai. Yanomura, aged 28. a permanent navy officer, pleaded for clemency on the grounds that he had never previously ill-treated prisoners and had tried to avoid having executions in his area. . , He delayed the executions as long as possible on the pretext of pressure of .work. It was stated that the order for the executions was given by Baron Takasaki, commander of the naval police. .____——_
