EDDA CIANO
TWO YEARS' IMPRISONMENT Rec. 9 a..m. ROME, December 20. A provincial commission sentenced Edda Ciano to two years' confinement for her efforts on behalf of Fascism. One of the charges laid against her was selling abroad for personal profit the diary of her late husband. Count Ciano.
Edda Ciano did not attend the triai, refusing to leave Lipari, where she has been interned since the end of the .war.
