OLD BOYS' OFFICERS
A meeting held this week to organise the Wellington branch of the New Plymouth High School Old Boys' Association, which has been in recess for the past five years, was largely attended. Mr. C. J. McNaught, headmaster of the school, was elected patron and Mr. W. H. Moyes, headmaster for over 30 years, was elected the first life member. Other officers elected were: President, Mr. R. E. Pope; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. S. V. Simpson. R. E. Bradshaw. J. D. Willis, A. E. Tarrant, W. Nicholson, J. Penman, and P. J Eggleton; secretary, Mr. L. W. Riley; treasurer. Mr. W. H. McKay; executive. Messrs. M. Tworaey, V. McLennan, L. F. Eggleton, B. Bridger. J. B. Doyle, C. Cooday, and R. D. Grace.
It was decided to hold a reunion of the branch early next year. A short discussion nlso 'look place on a proposal to hold a victory reunion at New Plymouth.
