Owing to the heavy rain on Saturday the match for the National Mutual Challenge Cup between Athletic (senior champions) and Poneke-Orien-tal (challengers) did not take place, and the intended curtain-raiser to this match was transferred to Wakefield Park, there being no play at Athletic Park.
