WELLINGTON HARMONIC SOCIETY.
The Wellington Harmonic; Society, with which is associated the Wellington Apollo Singers, under the conduetorship of H. Temple White, will give the first concert for 1945 in the Concert Chamber of, the Town Hall on Tuesday nest, commencing at 8 p.m. An interesting and well-varied programme of part singing (male, female, and mixed voice), instrumental trios, and elocutionary numbers, and a choral composition by Alec Rowley—"The River"—will bo presented, and assisting artists being Leela Bloy (violinist), Claude Tanner ('cellist), Elsie Betts-Vinccnt (pianist), and Mary Mackenzie (elocutionist), with Harold Whittle as accompanist.
