CZECH TRIBUTE TO BRITAIN

A tribute to the tenacious, calm, selfconfident, and steady effort made by the British people to achieve victory was paid by the President of CzechoslovaKia. Dr. Benes, in a message to the King sent on his return to Prague and broadcast by Prague radio. ,
President Benes asked his Majesty to accept his expression of the sincere gratitude and greetings sent by the people of Czechoslovakia to the British Empire, and also on behalf of the Czechoslovakian Government, expressed thanks for the generous and friendly hospitality extended by Britain at a time when Czechoslovakia was occupied by the enemy. He gave an assurance that Czechoslovakia would strengthen her relations of friendly co-operation with the nations -'of the British Empire.—B.O.W.
