N.Z. NAVAL CADETS

Rer.. 11 a.m. LONDON, May 30.

One hundred and fifty New Zealand ratings, all of whom arived in England within a few weeks of each other, travelling on different ships, were seen recently by Mr. W. Jordan and Mr. S. R. Skinner, the naval affairs officer, at H.M.S. Ganges, where they have begun training as cadet ratings. The majority of them have seen several years' service in the Second N.Z.K.F.. over 20 held commissions.

H. W. Revell fAuckland) and H. J. N. A'Court (Wellington) formerly were captains. Several prominent athletes were among those whom Mr. Jordan met. including F. R. Bell-Booth and R. F. Wilson (Auckland), I. W. Galloway (Otago), and'A. C. Bean.
