FIGHTING FLARES UP
ON EASTERN FRONT
LARGE GERMAN ATTACK
LONDON, May 30.
Fighting- has flared up again on Germany's Eastern Front. Tonight's Moscow communique reports a large German tank and infantry attack on the Rumanian front. The Germans struck north of Jassy. They suffered heavy losses, but drove a small wedge into the Soviet defences.
First reports say that 50 enemy tanks were destroyed and 36 planes
