TWO LIVES LOST
AEROPLANE CRASH When a R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft crashed m the North Island during training exercises shortly before midday yesterday, Pilot Officer William David McJannet and the other occupant, Sergeant Douglas Martin James Cairns, lost their lives. The machine was piloted by Pilot Officer McJannet. His.wife is Mrs. M. E. McJannet, 58 Kilmore Street, Christchurch. Sergeant Cairns's mother is Mrs. D. Cairns, of 164 Orakei Road, Remuera, Auckland.
