CUPS PRESENTED
The Jubilee Cup (senior championship) and the National Mutual Challenge Cup were presented to Poncke-Oriental and Athletic respectively at a function after the match at Athletic Park on Saturday. The presentations were made by the president of the Wellington Rugby Union (Mr. J. VV. Heenan) and Sir Alexander Roberts, both of whom referred to the good performances which had been put up by the teams and to the prospect of better times and a high standard of play in Rugby in the near future. Reply was made by officials of the clubs.
