WIDER OPERATION AREA?

The Philippines and part of the Netherlands East Indies, as well as New Caledonia, are now outside the sphere of operations for Australian militia.
The constant stressing of the importance of these islands suggests that Mr. Curtin considers them as vital to Australia now that the war is flowing back towards Japan, as those islands which are now included in the Militia Bill;;1 ■■■:■.'■..■
