THEFT OF BICYCLE
Admitting the theft from M. D. Murphy of a bicycle valued at £9, Harry Hampton, aged 34, an automobile electrician, was convicted by Mr. W. C. Harley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today and fined £10, and he was also ordered to make restitution of £9. He was allowed three months in which to pay. DetectiveSergeant W. McLennan said that Hampton borrowed the bicycle and then sold it for £4. The bicycle had not been recovered.
