(P,:A.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. ■■■ Herbert Sanders, a retired carrier, was burnt to death when a caravan in which he lived on the Tuipo Road, Rongotea, was, destroyed by fire. The discovery of the fire was made by ■Edgar Dear, on whose property the caravan stood, but so fierce were the flames that, he was unable to approach close enough to fight the outbreak.
