FIFTY-SEVEN DEAD
BOMBING OF SCHOOL
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 22. The death-roll at the bofnbed London school is now 57. Rescuers worked all last night in an attempt to locate the bodies. Squads of 100 men worked in shifts aided by a mobile crane under the light of flares. Some wreckage remains to be cleared but it is thought unlikely that any further bodies will be recovered.
