"HINEMOA."
For its second concert of the 1942 season the Royal Wellington Choral Union will present Alfred Hill's "Hinemoa" and Charles Villiers Stanford's "The Revenge." It is over eight years since "Hinemqa" was performed by the Choral Union. "The Revenge" was last presented in this city in 1907 and was written for chorus only. The soloists engaged to take the principal parts in "Hinemoa" are: Soprano, Mrs. Merle Gamble; tenor, Mr. Owen Bonifant; and baritone, Mr. Ken Macauley. On account of the Town Hall not being available, the performance on Saturday, November 14, will take place in the Technical College hall. The box plan will open at the D.I.C. on Tuesday, November 10, at 9 o'clock. The conductor will .be Mr. Stanley Oliver.
