Production in all departments of Davies, Coop, and Co., Ltd., had been handicapped througliout the past year owing to a shortage of labour, aggravated by avoidable absenteeism, said the chairman. Mr. P. Coop, at the annual meeting. No difficulty had been experienced in obtaining raw materials from overseas, and it was not anticipated that the company would be faced with any shortage of supplies.
