U,S. WANTS MORE BUMPS
WASHINGTON, June 8. The House has passed a Bill authorising the construction of 200 dirigibles and blimps. The Senate had authorised 72, but the Mavy asked that the number be increased for use against submarine*. Mr. Carl Vinson, chairman of the naval committee of the House, said lighter than air craft were rendering very worthwhile service against submarines.
