INVASION PLAN SUSPECTED
WASHINGTON, February 23,
Agents of the Dies Committee are reported to have seized elaboratelydetailed maps, drawn l«y Japanese spiel to guide an invasion force through Alaska and north-western Canada. The maps were taken from a Japanese agent after the United States entered the war.
Mr. Vt> Dies interpreted the discovery of the maps as positive evidence that " Japan will try to invade the United States if she is successful in driving the united nations from the south-west Pacific.
He added that the committee would make a public report next week on Japanese activities throughout the country. . •
