OFFENCES ON TRAIN
Pleading guilty to failing to pay a fare on the Wellington-Khandallah train, using insulting language to a railway official, and using threatening language to a person on the train, Philip Nisbet was convicted and discharged by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M,. in the Magistrate's Court today, on the first charge, and fined £1 on each of the. others. The defendant said he regretted, losing' his temper, but he thought the junior porter had been insolent and he resented the interference of the passenger. .
