GIFT OF £1000
FOR PATRIOTIC FUNDS
The National Patriotic Fund Board has received a cheque for £1000 as a donation to the patriotic funds from New Zealand Holdings, Ltd., Wellington.
"In making this donation," stated a letter which accompanied the cheque, "we wish to advise that it is made on account of ourselves and the several subsidiary companies controlled by us." The money is to be allocated by the Patriotic Fund Board to the provincial patriotic councils on a pro rata basis.
