VERY HEAVY AIR RAIDS ON MOSCOW
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 31
Overnight reports say that Moscow is being subjected to very heavy air attacks, with at least four or five raids daily
Moscow radio stated that last night the Germans made another raid on Moscow but that only a few machines penetrated the city's defences. They bombed residential districts at random and caused casualties.
A Soviet communique says that according to corrected information the German loss in the raid on Wednesday was 47 planes, not 39 as was stated previously. ,
