BASKETBALL

Seventy-two teams took part in, a tournament held on Saturday, under the auspices of the Wellington Basketball Association in aid of the Y.W.C.A. Fighting Services' Entertainment I Fund. Rain interrupted the tournament, which will be concluded at a later date.
