ART GALLERY CONCERTS.

The last of the series of ten concerts arranged by the Academy of Fine Arts will take place tomorrow afternoon at the Art Gallery, and will be a notable musical event. Mr. Lloyd Powell, examiner of music, London, who is in New Zealand, will give a pianoforte recital. Mr. Lloyd Powell is a Professor of Pianoforte at the Royal College of Music, London, and has given concerts throughout England and Ireland, and at Paris, Berlin, Ceylon, Java, South Africa, and Australia. He has selected a varied and interesting programme from the following composers: Handel, BachBusoni, Cesar Franck, Grieg, Poulenc, Frank Bridge, and Chopin. The profits are for the Patriotic Fund.
