JOINT CONCERT.
For the second concert of the 1941 season the choirs of the Wellington Harmonic Society and Apollo Singers have combined forces, under the conductorship of Mr. H. Temple White, and the programme which has been arranged for Tuesday evening next. in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall promises to be outstanding and to suit all tastes. Part-singing will comprise the bulk of the programme, and will include numbers for mixed voices, female voices and male voices. The assisting artists will be Miss Cara Hall, a talented young Wellington f)ianist, Miss Myra Sawyer, the pepu- ■ ar soprano, and Mr. Charles Williams, tenor. The accompanist will be Mr. Harold Whittle. Seats can be reserved at Begg's.
