WRESTLING ON MONDAY.
There is- every reason to expect * big crowd at the Wellington Town. Hall on Monday night, when the attraction will be a heavyweight professional wrestling contest between Jaget Singh (India) and Fred. Atkins (Australia). These two men are outstanding among the wrestlers at present in the country, and the difference between their styles will give additional interest to a bout which is certain to be full of incident and clever wrestling. Singh's guile will be tested to the full by the rugged Atkins, but the latter will have to be on his guard against the Indian death lock and other unusual attacking measures. In addition to amateur preliminaries there will be a five-round professional bout between R. Newth and C. Croskery.
