APRIL AIR-RAID CASUALTIES
RUGBY, May 17
The Ministry of Home Security has announced the following figures for civilian casualties during air raids on the United Kingdom in April:—Killed, 6065, comprising men 2912, women 2418, children under sixteen 680. unclassified 55; injured and detained in hospital, 6926. comprising men 3659, women 2748. children under sixteen 519. In addition 61 are missing and believed killed, of whom 48 are men, six women, and seven children. —8.0. W.
