"CIVIL GUARD" DROPPED
There has been a good deal of confusion as to the "Home Guard," the "Civil Guard,'1 and the "Emergency Precautions Scheme."
The Civil Guard and the E.P.S. are in fact one and the same, and in future, the term "Civil Guard" is to be dropped
The Home Guard is an auxiliary to the military forces.
The E.P.S. is concerned with maintaining public and essential services in the event of emergency.
