CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
Contests to find the champions of champions in the bowling singles, pairs, fours, and junior singles have been arranged by the Wellington Bowling Centre on the dates stated below. In all of the contests the draw has been arranged to eliminate byes in the first round.
Championship Singles, Wednesday, February 19, Kelburn green at 9 a.m.—First round: Island Bay v. Newtown, Johnsonville v. Hataitai, Lyall Bay v. Wellington, Porirua v. Victoria. Second round: Upper Hutt v. Thorndon; Karori v. Otakl Railway. Second round at 10.45 a,m.: Eastbourne v. Hutt, Petone v. Central, Kelburn v. Khandallah, Woburn v. Seatoun.
Championship Pairs, Wednesday and Thursday, February 26 and 27, Victoria green at 9 a.m. on first day.—Woburn v. . Newtown, Otakl Railway v. Central, Seatoun v. Karori, Porirua v. Kelburn. Second round: Hataitai v. Wellington, Victoria *. Upper Hutt. Second round at 1 p.m.: Khandallah v. Petone, Eastbourne v. Johnsonville, Lyall Bay v. Island Bay, Hutt v. Thorndon.
