SYDNEY, February 14
Sir Frederick Stewart, Minister of External Affairs, stated today that, although the warnings which had been given to British subjects to leave Japan applied also to Australians, the Australian Minister at Tokio had not been asked to give any direct warnings, and there was no indication that Japanese subjects intend to leave Australia.
