A Gallup poll on the question, "Would you like* to see the Irish, give up their neutrality and let the English use bases on the Irish coast," shows 63 per cent, yes, 16 per cent, no, and 21 per cent, undecided. A special survey of first and second generation Irish-Americans brought 40 per cent, yes, 52 per, cent, no, and 3 per cent, undecided.
