On November 14, at Abergavenny, a daughter Was born to Mary, wife of Simon Scrope, states "The Post's" London correspondent. Mrs. Scrope was formerly Miss Weld, of Flaxbourne.
New Year's Eye Dance,
Opportunity for young people. to welcome in the New Year is given by Miss Phyllis Bates, who plans to hold a dance at her ballroom, Willis Street, on New Year's Eve. An excellent band has been engaged.
