MOTOR CAMP DISPUTE
In a reserved decision of the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) judgment is given for the defendant in the case in which Raumati Motor Camps,' Ltd., claimed specific performance of a contract to buy the 20-acre property known as the Raumati Motor Camp. The defendant was Emma Clarke, private hotel proprietress, of Wellington, who had signed an agreement to buy the property for £4000.. His Honour found that the defendant was entitled to rescind the contract.
Mr. C. O. Belk appeared for the plaintiff and Mr. W. D. Goodwin for the defendant.
