SOLDIER PATIENTS

EMERGENCY HOSPITAL

AUCKLAND, December 13.

Work started today on the erection of an emergency hospital in the Auckland Domain, the Government having accepted a tender of the Fletcher Construction Company of £70,000. The building, which will be of a temporary nature, will provide accommodation for 150 soldier patients and will be of one storey. Part of it will be ready for occupation within three months, and the whole project within seven months.
