LONDON, November 7. People in Washington today gave a rousing reception to President Roosevelt when he returned from New York. At the station, the President told the crowd how happy Mrs. Roosevelt and he were "to be back for a little bit longer," as he put it. *■■.'•. (Received November 8, noon.) NEW YORK, November 7. The latest figures give the popular vote as follows:— President Roosevelt .... 25,956,000 Mr. Willkie ........... 21,591,000
