NORTHLAND HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
At the recent monthly meeting of the Northland Horticultural Society an interesting and informative talk on "Flowering Shrubs and ~ .Climbing Plants" was given by Mrs1. 'Dv Pom, who brought a large number of specimens to illustrate her remarks. Mrs. Dv Pont, who is a well-known exhibitor at Wellington Horticultural Shows, named several varieties of shrubs and plants suitable for the conditions in Wellington and the suburbs.
These monthly talks on various subjects are becoming increasingly popular, and much valuable information is being circulated by this means, thus adding to the usefulness of the worh of the society.
