BRANCH'S NINTH BIRTHDAY
The ninth birthday meetirfg of the Khandallah branch of the League of Mothers was held recently, Mrs: E. S. Mirams presiding over a fair attendance of members. In cutting the birthday cake presented by Mrs. Lockie, Mrs. H. H; Cornish extended greetings and wished the branch continued success. Mrs. W. H. "Nichols, who has recently returned from, a tour abroad, gave a travel talk, dealing principally with impressions gained' in London and on the Continent. Songs were given by Mrs. Eric Ballinger, accompanied by Mrs. P. P. Lynch, and the choir, led by Mrs^ Martindale, sang Elocutionary items were given by Mrs D. Laurenson i" ±
