CARNIVAL AT PLAYLAND
In order to help the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Funds, Mr. Henry Seff, organiser of Playlarid, announced that, through the courtesy of the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition, there will be a grand carnival at Playland today from 2.30 p.m. to midnight. Admission will be free, and entrance may be gained through either Tirangi Road or Resolution Street. All the main devices, except the "Jack and Jill," will be operating, and in addition many of the stall-keepers will be co-operating. This is a chance for the public of Wellington to help the Wellington Provincial Patriotic Funds, and in addition it will be the last opportunity of enjoying the fun and thrills of Playland.
