STAMP EXHIBITION
WIDE PUBLIC INTEREST
The philatelic exhibition at the Dominion Museum t has proved of great interest to the public. During the week it has Taeen open fully six thousand people have visited it, many returning again and again' to examine closely the many rare and interesting items on view. His Excellency the Governor-General. Lord 'Galway, has taken a keen interest in the exhibition and has supplemented the exhibits with some of his own collection.
, ; Although there have been many requests that the exhibition should be kept open a bit longer, it has not been found possible to do so and today is the last day.
One result of the gathering of so many philatelists in Wellington, who came from all parts of the Dominion to see the exhibition, has been the formation of a New Zealand Association of Philatelic Societies.
