VICTORIA BOWLING CLUB
The Victoria Bowling Club closed its season on Saturday, when a.full muster of members enjoyed a competitive game for trophies presented by the president.
The semi-final and final of the club pairs were played. Forsyth was successful in winning from Ingram, and then played Tucker in the final, Tucker winning after an exciting finish.
At the conclusion of the day the president (Mr/T. Forsyth) thanked members and his committee for the help received-by him during his term of office. !
In :spite of the weather, the.season has been a very enjoyable one for the members, the general comment being that the playing surface of the green has been better than in the past two seasons. .■:''■■' : ■
The championship singles was won by S. Ingram, and the handicap singles by H. Green. These two players have* been outstanding in their ""play this season.
