MONOTYPE RACE
A field of twenty-two started in the New Zealand monotype "championships held in Evans Bay yesterday afternoon. G. Carter, of Tauranga, was first to cross the finishing line, but Was disqualified, and the race resulted as follows: — '
B. Jukes (Evans Bay), 1; P. Miller (Evans Bay), 2; R. Bailey (Auckland), 3.
The race was sailed in Takapuna class boats. Jukes retained his title.
