An Australian traveller, Mrs. E. Falkiner, Sydney, passed Auckland this week on Her return home after a four months' holiday in the United States, states an exchange. Speaking;of her trip, Mrs. Falkiner said that on her journey to America, Mrs. Lawrence Tibbett, wife of the famous singer, who with her husband visited New Zealand in August last year, came on board the steamer at Honolulu. Only the day before, Mrs. Tibbett had suffered the loss of her eleven-year-old son through an accident with & surf board.
