CAPTAIN BLIGH RESUMES

The recent successes of horses by the now defunct Captain Bunsby draw attention to the possibilities of Mr. W. O'Brien's Captain Bunsby—Molleen Oge gelding Captain Bligh. who, after shaping promisingly, is doing well following an enforced retirement through some internal complaint. Captain Bligh is having a course of road work, and is expected to make an early reappearance on the racecourse. Owner-trainer Mr. B. La Pouple is concentrating on Le Marquis, who is looking in condition Chat sugaests an early return to racing form. It is intended to race him at New Plymouth at the end of the month. The four-year-olds by Illumination —Isotta and Resinous—Red Gleam are making good progress, especially the former, who has developed into an attractive looking horse.
