DEFENCE PAY
IN EVENT OF EMERGENCY
•'We have not yet provided scales of pay and allowances that would be given officers and other ranks in the New Zealand Territorial Force and the Military Reserve in the event of an emergency, but if an emergency arose we would see that full justice was done the men while engaged in any capacity in defence work," said the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) in an interview yesterday.
