SHOPLIFTING CHARGES

Sentences of three months' imprisonment on each of two charges of shoplifting were imposed upon John Prentice Lindsay, an engraver, aged 53, who appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. Sub-Inspector D. J. O'Neill said that the accused was caught red-handed yesterday. On his own behalf Lindsay said that he was under the influence of liquor at the time.
